It may be infected. If it's that sore, get it checked out by a skincare specilist or doctor. Biggest tip - don't touch it. There is alot of bacteria on your hands that you are passing onto it each time you touch it, just leave it alone and see if it goes down. Don't pop it either, it may leave a nasty scar. Leave it and see a professional if it's really sore. Hope I helped.
dont cover it completely with makeup, that will stop oxygen from getting to it. probably best to get it checked out if it doesnt go away, but resist the temptation and don't squeeze it!
Sounds like cystic acne(pus-filled bacterial infected pore) that is deep below the skin surface. Time to call a dermatologist.

you have a pimple, wash your face more, quit touching it
