Does alcohol then lotion help a zit?

I read an article about trying to get rid of a zit and it said you can use a tea bag and hold it there for like 2min and an ice pack every 30 min for 2min and 2 times a day put alcohol then lotion on a zit and it will help it go away in 2 days

You'd be better off with just a good acne cream. The more you bother it, the worse it will look and lotion just adds grease to the problem. If you just wash your face with a good acne soap or wash and keep your hands off it, it will look better in a day or so.
